Where San Francisco Learns To Play Golf

We are the ideal choice for a half-day golf event that is both fun and enjoyable for all skill levels.

Build in 1951 on sand dunes, the layout at Golden Gate Park Golf Course is no "pitch & putt" and will challenge the better player Yet, being a par three, nine-hole course it is also fun and enjoyable for beginning golfers. Scoreboard assistance and closest to the pin markers included.

Even non-golfers can get in on the fun with our "Experience the Game" golf clinic!

Participants enjoy an easy and fun golf outing, while gaining insight into a potential new outdoor activity for all ages and abilities. Taught by Bruce Olson, PGA Golf Coach, this fast paced, hands-on clinic for non-golfers combines one-hour in the practice area with one-hour on-the-course golf. The first hour of the golf clinic is 30 minutes on the putting green and 30 minutes in the practice range. Golf terms, grip, alignment and the basics of how to swing the club (from putter through woods) are introducted. For the second hour, we form groups of 3-5 and play a four-hole scramble (best shot), giving participants an opportunity to "Experience the Game".
